Salary: $40 - $75 per hour

A bit about us:

Seeking a proficient C++ Software Engineer with MFC experience to join our development team.

We are a small, privately owned and customer-centric software company and require a person with initiative, hands-on technical skill, readiness to wear multiple hats and an engineer’s mindset. The ideal candidate will spend their day with sleeves-rolled up but can also think strategically to help us move towards long term goals for the product and team.

This is a telecommute position, so the candidate will be experienced thriving in a remote work environment.

Assignments may include new product development and upgrades as well as enhancements and fixes to existing product versions.

Contribute to the design, development, testing, debugging and maintenance of Windows GUI components

Contribute to design documents, unit tests, and QA test plans

Provide documentation updates for new functionality, enhancements, and fixes

Adhere to any defined organizational coding and quality standards and procedures

Provide internal and external technical support of the UI through all phases of development, testing, and maintenance

Assist the technical support staff in diagnosing and resolving customer issues Job Details

Highly proficient in Visual C++

Strong experience with MFC framework

Strong experience with C++ Standard Template Library (STL)

Strong experience with Git

Experience with BCG Suite

Experience with TCP/IP protocol

Experience with multi-threading

Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus

Ability to work in a remote team environment and collaborate effectively with other engineers and product management to achieve business objectives

Passionate about quality and customer service

Ability to take direction and work independently with minimal guidance yet seeks assistance proactively when needed – must be a self-starter
