The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking to recruit outstanding Intensivists to join its Cardiothoracic ICU teams in Manhattan and Long Island!

Manhattan: Our expanding ICU is looking for energetic, astute Intensivists who want to join a collaborative and hardworking team dedicated to quality outcomes, teaching and research. Experience in fellowship training or as an attending with critically ill cardiac and cardiothoracic patients is required. Candidates will be expected to be proficient with standard intensive care procedures (central lines, S-G catheter placement etc). Responsibilities will include managing patients after cardiothoracic surgery with a team of PA's/NP's, residents and fellows, and include day, evening and weekend shifts.

The Institute for Critical Care Medicine of the Mount Sinai Health System is seeking qualified Intensivists to join our Critical care team at our Cardiovascular Surgery Program at Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside, NY. Located on Long Island this young program is looking for energetic, astute Intensivists who want to join a collaborative and hardworking team dedicated to quality outcomes, teaching and research. Training in a Critical Care fellowship is a must and experience as an attending with critically ill cardiac and cardiothoracic patients is an asset. Candidates will be expected to be proficient with standard intensive care procedures (central lines, S-G catheter placement etc). Responsibilities will include managing patients before/after cardiothoracic surgery and after complex cardiac procedures. The intensivist will work with a team of PA's/NP's, residents and fellows, and include day, evening and weekend shifts.

12 Bed CTICU

Routine and Complex cardiac surgical cases

Candidates should be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine. Physicians who may wish to divide their efforts between Critical Care and a primary specialty (e.g., Anesthesiology, Surgery, Medicine) are encouraged to apply.

The position will include an academic appointment in the candidates primary specialty as well as a cross appointment in the Institute for Critical Care Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
