Mesa seeks a Project Manager (East Region) with structural engineering expertise who has a proven track record of delivering results, possessing strong leadership skills, exhibiting excellent communication skills, and has a customer-centric approach. To fulfill the role of providing project leadership at the client level, the ideal candidate should possess a diverse skill set and experience in various aspects of project management:

Project Initiation: They should have the ability to develop comprehensive client proposals, define work scope, establish schedules, allocate budgets, and manage resources efficiently. Additionally, they should assist the project team in clearly defining and clarifying the project scope to meet customer expectations.

Project Monitoring: The candidate should be adept at leading project teams, ensuring the attainment of project goals and objectives while adhering to established business processes and procedures. They should effectively plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate engineering work phases, closely monitoring project expenditures, earned value, and cost and schedule performance to ensure satisfactory budget performance on all projects. Assisting in project closeout activities is also crucial.

Professional Engineering: Licensed PE and technical capabilities for structural modeling, design, and analysis of transmission structures and foundations are required. Must be the engineer of record on some client projects while training the next generation of engineers.

Client Communication: Effective communication with clients is paramount. The candidate should maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed of any issues that could potentially impact project execution, scope, schedule, or budget performance. They should also proactively promote the organization's capabilities and strengths to clients and be attentive to potential new project opportunities. Education/Experience/Licensure:

BS in Civil Engineering Required; MS in Engineering Preferred.

15+ years Structural Experience Transmission Line Tower Analysis & Design.

5+ years Project Management in Transmission Line Engineering

PE License Required; PMP Certification Required Benefits:

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE:

$120,000 - $140,000

The expected compensation is a range determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, and qualifications of the candidate, internal equity, work location, and the hiring department’s fiscal resources.
