Job Description:
We are seeking a Power Electronics Design Engineer to support the design and development of VPS power supply products. This role involves hands-on design, testing, and analysis to contribute to innovative power solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Development: Build circuits on breadboards, perform electrical evaluations, and support design verification and qualification.
Technical Analysis: Utilize engineering skills in high-frequency switch mode power supplies and circuit/system topologies.
Failure Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses using advanced analytical techniques.
Sustaining Engineering: Maintain existing product lines and collaborate with Sales and Applications Engineering for customer support.
Product Lifecycle Management: Handle all stages from design, simulation, and testing to PCB layout, product specification, and documentation.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless product introduction and manufacturing. Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
Experience: 5+ years in switch mode power supply design
Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of high-frequency switching power supply topologies and control architectures
Proficient in high-frequency magnetic design, circuit simulation, feedback control theory, and EMC compliance
Familiarity with simulation tools: SIMetrix/SIMPLIS, Pspice, OrCAD, Mathcad, MATLAB, Excel, etc.
Firmware experience is a plus
