We are seeking a dedicated and passionate ESY teacher to join our team for the upcoming Extended School Year Program. The ESY teacher will be responsible for providing specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs during the summer months to prevent regression and support continued academic growth. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with disabilities, implementing individualized education plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support student success.
Responsibilities:
Implement individualized education plans (IEP's) for students
Provide direct instruction in academic and functional skills
Monitor and report student progress and adjust instruction as needed
Collaborate with related service providers, families, and school staff
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
Valid PA Teacher Certification in Special Education
Experience working with students with disabilities
Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
Strong communication and collaboration skills Program will run Monday through Thursday from July 7, 2025 through July 31, 2025
Staff hours will be 8:30 am - 12:30 pm (students will report 9:00 am - 12:00 pm)
8 hours of preparation as well as 8 hours of end-of-ESY paperwork and cleanup will be compensated. The district will designate dates and times
