Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Intelligent Automation Engineer to join our Digital Services and Data Analytics Practice. In this role, you will be responsible for spearheading our intelligent automation offering, utilizing the Microsoft PowerPlatforms framework to architect, design, and implement cutting-edge solutions for our clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique needs, transform their business processes, and drive efficiency through automation. Automation Engineers must be willing to operate in a hybrid environment, with work taking place at client site (Washington D.C. metro area), the Rios Partners office in Arlington, VA, and virtually from home.
The Automation Engineer will be skilled in:
Solution Architecture: Lead the design and development of intelligent automation solutions using Microsoft PowerPlatforms, ensuring they align with client objectives and best practices.
Hands-On Implementation: Take a hands-on approach to implement SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, MS Project, and other relevant Microsoft technologies to create automation solutions that drive business value.
Client Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients to gather requirements, understand business processes, and recommend automation opportunities.
UI Design: Develop user-friendly and intuitive user interfaces to enhance the user experience of automation solutions.
Project Management: Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
RPA Integration: While not a primary focus, knowledge of RPA platforms such as BluePrism and UiPath would be advantageous for providing comprehensive automation solutions.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience
Consulting experience with a Big4 or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, etc.).
Proven experience in solution architecture, design, and implementation, with a focus on Microsoft PowerPlatforms.
Proficiency in SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, and MS Project.
Strong UI/UX design skills.
Knowledge of solution architecture best practices.
Excellent project management skills.
Strong communication and client-facing skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Knowledge of RPA platforms and tools, such as BluePrism and UiPath, preferred

Security Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance (i.e. must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident who has resided in US for past three years consecutively)
Must be willing to operate in hybrid environment, including work in-person at client site in DC Metro area and at Rios Partners office in Arlington, VA as needed (final schedule determined by team and project)
Must conduct all work from the continental United States

Profit-sharing/Performance Bonus: Rios Partners is committed to ensuring the success of the organization benefits the entire team. As such, a portion of profits is paid out to employees. The total amount of Profit-Sharing/Performance Bonus distributed to the team may vary year to year and will depend on numerous factors, including market conditions, company performance, and individual performance.

Vision insurance: Rios Partners offers a vision plan through MetLife that covers eye exams, glasses, contacts and other vision related services.
Dental insurance: Rios Partners covers the premium for both the employee and their dependents for a dental insurance plan through MetLife, employees can purchase up to a higher-level plan.
Disability insurance: Rios Partners will pay 100% of the premium for both short-term and long-term disability insurance provided through Guardian.
Paid Time Off (PTO) and holidays: You will be eligible for three weeks of PTO (15 days) and 12 paid holidays each year. In additional accrued PTO, Rios Partners provides additional time off for both expected and unexpected events (e.g., Bereavement Leave, Jury Duty, Voting).
Parental Leave: Rios Partners celebrates employees’ choice to become parents. We are also aware that pregnancy and caring for an infant or a newly adopted child may cause additional life complexities. As such, we provide employees twelve (12) weeks of paid leave in association with the birth of an employee’s own child or the placement of a child with the employee in connection with adoption or foster care. To be eligible for Maternity/Paternity/Adoption Leave Program, team members must: 1) Have worked at Rios Partners full-time for a minimum of 12 continuous months. 2) Be in good employment standing with Rios Partners (i.e., not on probation). 3) Request leave a minimum of 30 days in advance if possible. If this is not possible, please place your request as soon as possible once you become aware of it. Regardless of eligibility for the Rios Partners Maternity/Paternity/Adoption Leave Program, all Rios Partners employees are eligible for the Department of Labor’s Family and Medical Leave Act entitlements as well as Rios Partners Short Term Disability plan.
