Director, Asset Management

Join a multi-generational, family-owned real estate company with a century-long legacy of excellence in property stewardship and tenant care. Weâ re looking for a Director of Asset Management to lead day-to-day property management operations, oversee complex construction and capital projects, and manage all aspects of tenant and facilities operations across our historic and mixed-use portfolio.

What Youâ ll Do:

Oversee property management operations across a diverse commercial and mixed-use real estate portfolio.

Lead all construction management activitiesâ including tenant buildouts, capital improvements, and infrastructure projects.

Manage project lifecycles from budgeting and bidding to scheduling and delivery, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Supervise, mentor, and direct property management teams, maintenance staff, and external vendors.

Ensure all properties are professionally maintained and meet high standards for service, safety, and functionality.

Implement systems for project tracking, preventive maintenance, and vendor accountability.

Coordinate tenant onboarding, move-ins, and ongoing service needs throughout lease terms.

Ensure compliance with all permitting, code, and safety requirements.

Serve as a direct liaison to ownership, bringing clarity, urgency, and foresight to every decision.

What Weâ re Looking For:

10+ years of property management and construction oversight experience.

Proven success managing major capital projects and day-to-day property operations.

Strong leadership skills and experience managing both internal teams and third-party contractors.

Deep understanding of tenant relations, buildout coordination, and facilities management.

Working knowledge of building systems, code compliance, vendor contracts, and project tracking tools.

Excellent organizational and communication skills with a proactive, hands-on mindset.
