About the Role:
Provides nail care services according to company standards to guests and members of The Resort at Glade Springs. Will also assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment, an adequate inventory of nail care supplies, and provide exceptional guest and member service. Wage is $10 per hour plus commissions and gratuities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Will directly perform nail care services on guests and members of The Resort at Glade Springs according to company standards.
apply gel and lacquer nail polish
perform manicures and pedicures
use specialist tools
maintain safe work practices and hygiene standards
read and interpret product information to make safe and appropriate recommendations to clients
perform routine housekeeping duties
provide advice about and sell nail products
Will attend regularly scheduled training, continuing education, and injury prevention programs to ensure quality control, safety, and effective and efficient body mechanics.
Ensure that guests experience the highest standard of hospitality and service during their visit to Spa Orange, e.g. grooming, use of language, greeting guests properly, facility cleanliness, room set-up at optimal image and functional capacity.
Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of the nail care treatment room. Report problems to the Spa Desk Manager/Spa Supervisor.
Coordinate with all departments according to procedure, and when necessary, keep them informed to ensure a smooth flow in the guest experience.
Attend scheduled company training seminars and department meetings.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken.
Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company associates and purveyors to promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate, which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.
Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of the position.
Maintains a professional standard at Glade Springs to include but not limited to: appearance, verbal discussions, written correspondence and interactions with members, associates and guests. Does not discuss confidential items with fellow associates or work-related issues with members or guests.
Other tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Board of Barbering and Cosmetology license or Nail Technician License required.
Two years' experience in the spa and/or nail care industry preferred.
Must have a genuine willingness to provide uncompromising service to guests, superior nail care knowledge, and an ability to handle stress and a strong work ethic.
Must also present a professional personal appearance according to The Resort at Glade Springs’ standards.
Part-time
