Join Our Team as a VMO Manager, Project Delivery
Are you a strategic and operational leader passionate about delivering high-impact initiatives? We’re seeking a VMO Manager, Project Delivery to oversee a dynamic hybrid team of Project Managers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters at our organization.
In this pivotal role, you will ensure alignment across various disciplines to execute initiatives that bring substantial value to the business. As a cross-functional leader within the Value Management Office (VMO), you will coordinate execution strategies, enhance team capabilities, and ensure the timely delivery of projects that align with our enterprise goals.
Your expertise will be crucial in building a collaborative environment that fosters efficient project execution. Your leadership will be essential in driving initiatives that meet business objectives and inspire excellence within your team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Lead & Manage: Oversee a blended team of Project Managers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to successfully deliver strategic business and technology initiatives.
Integrate Agile Practices: Ensure seamless integration of Agile delivery methodologies across product ownership and project execution, enhancing overall efficiency.
Facilitate Collaboration: Promote cross-team collaboration by aligning priorities, roadmaps, and timelines with enterprise objectives to drive unified efforts.
Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations, proactively removing barriers to ensure effective delivery across multiple programs and projects.
Support Planning Activities: Assist in planning activities such as capacity planning, sprint planning, roadmap development, and change control to optimize resource allocation.
Track Performance Metrics: Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate the success of initiatives and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Cultivate a Positive Culture: Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, transparency, and accountability within the Agile delivery function to empower team members.
Mentor & Guide: Provide mentorship to team leads, ensuring effective stakeholder communication and coordination of delivery efforts.
Drive Process Improvements: Lead initiatives for process improvement and conduct learning sessions to enhance delivery effectiveness across the organization.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
Experience: A minimum of 6+ years in Agile environments, including roles in project management, product ownership, or Scrum leadership. Additionally, at least 3+ years in a formal leadership position managing cross-functional Agile delivery teams.
Agile Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Agile principles (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) as well as traditional project management best practices.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead hybrid teams and drive cross-functional collaboration effectively.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Project Management Expertise: Experience managing schedules, budgets, KPIs, and risk mitigation strategies for complex, multi-team programs.
Certifications: Preferred certifications include PMP, CSM, SAFe Agilist, or PMI-ACP.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in tools such as Wrike, JIRA, Smartsheet, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Location Requirement: Must be local to or willing to relocate to Dallas, TX, and work full-time onsite with project teams and leadership.
