Solutions Consultant – Law Enforcement
First Due is seeking a tech-savvy Solutions Consultant with law enforcement experience to help sell cloud-based, multi-module public safety software to the nation’s leading public safety agencies. As a First Due Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for demonstrating our products while maintaining a knowledge of current and upcoming product features. You will work closely with the Account Executives during the sales discovery process to tailor your presentation to the customers’ needs, resulting in increased sales and revenue.
The ideal candidate has knowledge of Public Safety, law enforcement experience, and a background in selling enterprise software.
The Role:
· Serve as a First Due product expert with the ability to present First Due’s law enforcement modules to target audiences and customers
· Partner with Account Executives during the Sales process to identify customer needs and build presentation strategy to respond to customer requirements.
· Prepare demonstration material for a tailored customer experience.
· Sell to many different levels of an organization, including law enforcement and IT leaders, with the ability to answer questions ranging from product usage to security and software infrastructure.
· Identifying upsell opportunities.
· Coordinate post-demo follow ups as needed, including any product-related questions.
· Lead training sessions for chiefs, officers, and line personnel on how to use the First Due platform.
· Maintain product knowledge of roadmaps and timelines of new features.
· Run large group presentations for 20 or more participants at a time.
· Able to present 3 or more times a day.
· Partner with the RFP team to build bid responses as needed.
· Ability to travel approximately 40% for onsite meetings or trade shows
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
You thrive when presenting and are skilled at making quick connections with customers. You are motivated by building rapport and solidifying powerful partnerships. Your organizational abilities position you to stay on top of a never-evolving community of clients and an ever-evolving product. You’re a strong presenter, able to think on your feet, overcome objections, and cater your delivery to specific audiences.
You also have:
Law enforcement experience (strongly preferred)
SaaS sales experience
Technical experience preparing demonstration material.
Experience demonstrating products to large organizations.
Demonstrated excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Have a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
A bachelors or associates degree is preferred.
