Join our team as a part-time Guest Experiences Assistant Manager at Winton Woods Snack Bar. Performs job duties in accordance with Great Parks policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
Work assigned shifts alongside co-workers and may be required to work outside of the normal schedule as needed. Various shifts will include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Be required to fill in shifts for absences, as well as provide additional assistance during peak activity times.
Account for daily cash transactions, complies with all cash handling policies and enforces cash control procedures including POS operation, daily deposits, shift/change tills, and required logs.
Assist and lead boathouse staff in performance of job duties and responsibilities.
Maintain confidentiality of confidential and sensitive information.
Assign tasks, provide direction, and ensure quality performance overall.
Assist in training part-time staff.
Enforce work rules such as dress and personal hygiene requirements.
Refer any disciplinary issues to the Guest Experiences Manager for review
Reviews invoices.
Prepare and submits reports
Oversees events and activities at the assigned park and other park locations.
Receive and resolve guest concerns and complaints, resolves problems and provides recommendations on corrective actions if necessary.
Monitor food and merchandise inventory levels, conducts inventory counts, order food merchandise as needed, and track/control food waste and merchandise returns.
Enforces food and beverage preparation requirements to ensure quality of service and food products to guests.
Ensures cleanliness and sanitary conditions of food service areas, wet playgrounds, and other work areas.
Assists in promoting food and merchandise sales through daily public relation contacts with customers and development of sales promotions and special events.
Prevents alcohol abuse by customers and handles intoxicated patrons according to procedures established by the Alcohol Awareness program.
Complete Park trainings as assigned and assisting staff to complete trainings as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
An appropriate combination of education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities. An example of an acceptable qualification is a high school degree or GED. Must be at least 18 years of age.
LICENSE & CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
State Motor Vehicle Operator’s License that meets Great Parks current carrier guidelines.
ServSafe Food and TIPS Alcohol Service Certification to be taken within one year of employment.
