Job Title: Customer Service Representative - 2nd shift

Hours: Sunday - Thursday (11 AM to 8 PM)

Location: Downtown Chicago Loop, IL

Industry: Logistics

Pay: $20-$22/hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Service Representative to join a high-visibility team. This role involves managing top-tier accounts, handling multiple communication channels, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and schedule routes, transit times, and appointments.

Answer inbound and outbound calls, delivering top-notch customer service.

Use Transportation Management Software (TMS) to track shipments and provide updates.

Monitor and respond to customer emails across multiple inboxes.

Meet or exceed customer performance metrics and service level expectations.

Promote additional services and solutions to enhance customer experience.

Act as a liaison between customers, sales, and account management teams.

Address and resolve semi-routine customer service issues efficiently.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors.

Qualifications:

2+ years of customer service experience (logistics, freight forwarding, or brokerage preferred).

Strong multitasking skills with experience managing multiple email inboxes.

Proficiency in Outlook and Excel; experience with TMS software preferred.

Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.

A reliable team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
