About the Role:

The Banquet Server plays a crucial role in ensuring that events run smoothly and guests have an exceptional dining experience. This position involves setting up banquet rooms, serving food and beverages, and attending to guests' needs throughout the event. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of service, which includes adhering to health and safety regulations. Additionally, the Banquet Server will collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure timely service and presentation of meals. Ultimately, the success of each event relies heavily on the professionalism and efficiency of the Banquet Server. Pay is $4.25 plus service charges.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in food service or hospitality.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in food safety and handling.

Experience in a banquet or catering environment.

Responsibilities:

Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations.

Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.

Assist in the breakdown and cleaning of banquet areas after events.

Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests to enhance their experience.

Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of meals.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, which are essential for interacting with guests and team members.
