Position Summary:
The Coordinator Lead for Consumer Loan Processing & Servicing/Post-Closing plays a key supporting role in the day-to-day operations of the Consumer Lending Operations department. Reporting to and working closely with the AVP of Consumer Lending Operations, this working lead serves as a resource and coordinator for both the Consumer Loan Processors and Post-Closing/Servicing teams. This person will be the subject matter expert for the processors and post-closing/servicing teams.
This position actively processes loans 60% of their day, assists with post-closing tasks 30% of their day, and supports team organization and workflow for the remaining 10% of their day. Key Responsibilities:
Team Coordination & Support
Serve as a go-to resource and point of contact for daily operational questions within the Consumer Loan Processing and Servicing/Post-Closing teams.
Help coordinate workflows and maintain visibility into the team’s progress and pipeline.
Support the AVP in identifying process improvements and helping implement changes.
Loan Processing & Member Communication
Accurately process consumer loan applications from approval to funding, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures with minimal to no errors.
Communicate with members to collect necessary documentation, provide updates, and ensure a smooth experience.
Ensure loans meet internal guidelines and regulatory compliance prior to funding with minimal to no errors.
Post-Closing & Servicing
Assist with post-closing tasks, including lien perfection, mortgage recording, RREAL filings, and documentation filing with minimal to no errors.
Help monitor the completion of post-closing responsibilities to ensure timelines are met.
Monitor and track post-closing tasks to ensure timely completion.
Collaboration & Cross-Department Support
Work closely with other departments including underwriting, funding, retail, relationship team and compliance to ensure consistent workflows.
Support training of new staff and share knowledge and best practices across the team.
Stay up to date with relevant state and feral lending regulations.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in consumer loan processing, servicing, or post-closing
Strong understanding of mortgage recording, lien perfection, and RREAL processes
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
Ability to work well independently and as part of a collaborative team
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and lending systems

Nice to have: Experience with KeyStone core system and/or Meridian Link loan origination platform
Physical Requirements
Able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Working Conditions
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise.
