CNC Mill Programmer/Operator

Position Type: Direct hire – Long Term

Location: Troy, MI

Industry: Aerospace Manufacturing

Environment: Precision Manufacturing Facility

Pay: Based on Experience (Overtime pay: 1.5x)

Shift:

1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday–Friday) and 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Saturday).

2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 3:30 AM (Monday–Thursday) and 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Friday).

Position Summary:

We are seeking experienced CNC Mill Setup/Operators to join our team in a precision aerospace manufacturing environment. The role involves operating and setting up CNC milling machines, performing inspections, and maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.

Position Responsibilities:

Operate and run two CNC milling machines based on provided programs, work instructions, and blueprints.

Set up CNC mill machines for specific jobs using provided programs and instructions.

Understand and apply G-Code programming.

Perform adjustments to maintain quality parts at the required production rate.

Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using the necessary inspection equipment.

Document manufactured measurements as required by work instructions.

Maintain equipment through regularly scheduled preventative maintenance.

Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Position Requirements:

Proficient understanding of blueprints, including GD&T.

Skilled in using inspection equipment for quality checks.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Good judgment and decision-making abilities.

Strong attention to detail.

Preferred: Experience with Haas machines.

Education & Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Mill Operator.

Must be a U.S. citizen.
