Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Job Description
The Quality Control Inspector will uphold quality standards by inspecting incoming, in-process, and finished products, and meticulously recording inspection results. All Quality Inspectors must be able to read blueprints and use measurement tools
Responsibilities
Conduct receiving, in-process, and final inspection of finished products across all technologies.
Utilize hand measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges for dimensional and visual inspections.
Generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for discrepant materials.
Understand and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to measure parts accurately.
Provide feedback to other departments based on inspection results.
Document inspection results using the internal QA database.
Adhere to guidelines for using and maintaining measurement tools.
Communicate inspection issues to the QA Manager or QC Lead.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Essential Skills
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Two years of related experience in quality or manufacturing, or equivalent education and experience.
Proficiency in using inspection tools and navigating a Windows PC.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Ability to read and interpret drawings.
Strong attention to detail and superior hand skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Production and inspection experience.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 or other industry standards is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The position operates during the 1st shift within a machine shop team consisting of 4-8 people. The facility is equipped with 4-5 Axis Mills, and focuses on R&D and small production runs. The work environment supports high-quality prototypes and batch production runs.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CARLSBAD, California.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
