Job Title: Packaging Machine Operator - 2nd Shift
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Packaging Machine Operator for the 2nd shift to ensure efficient and high-quality packaging operations. You will be responsible for operating and cleaning sleeving and packaging machines, maintaining production quality, and adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
Operate and clean sleeving and packaging machines following established procedures.
Ensure sleeves are correctly applied to bottles by the machine and prevent bottle backups.
Verify date codes are accurate for each day's production run.
Communicate machine status and any unacceptable bottle quality issues to the supervisor or Plant Manager.
Provide relief to other Machine Operators during machine downtime or job reassignment to maintain departmental efficiency and production quality.
Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on machines promptly.
Report to workstation on time, wear proper work attire, and assist in setting up the work area.
Pass the forktruck exam to operate necessary machinery.
Conduct operations in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Sanitization Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) that meet quality and safety standards.
Comply with regulations from HACCP, FDA, EPA, OSHA, USDA, WDA, and customer requirements.
Adhere to the company's employee policy.
Perform additional duties as assigned.Essential Skills
Machine operation and packaging expertise.
2+ years of machine operating experience.
1+ years of GMP experience.
Experience with production, packaging machines, filling machines, and blow molding.
Ability to set up machines efficiently.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
Work the 2nd shift from 4 PM to 12 AM in a GMP-compliant setting, which requires wearing a hair net, beard net, smocks, and steel-toed boots.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
