Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are currently looking for Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians for the Day Shift. The Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and work under the guidance of the Group Leader. They will mentor lower-level Electrical Technicians and be responsible for part of their training. This role requires performing responsibilities with little to no supervision from start to finish.

Responsibilities

Move around the facility to address issues.

Perform mechanical troubleshooting on gears, bearings, sprockets.

Troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V 3-phase, including motors, motor relays, starters, and sensors on robots or PLCs.

Trace down prints and work with lower-level technicians to repair issues throughout the facility.

Repair or troubleshoot plant-wide equipment or machinery, including Fanuc Robots, PLC's (the person 5, 500, 5000), conveyor systems, ovens, smaller hydraulic presses, and welding equipment.

Perform automation work on PLCs, troubleshooting ladder logic, motor controls, servo drives, and VFDs.

Spend 80% of the time performing reactionary or preventative maintenance.

Spend 20% of the time integrating equipment such as adding robots to conveyor systems and working with Control Engineers to reprogram or add devices to equipment.Essential Skills

2+ years of Industrial Maintenance Electrician experience.

Mechanical troubleshooting skills for motors, gears, and robot repacks.

Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V 3-phase, including VFDs, motors, and other electrical components.

Ability to read schematics and trace down prints.

Ability to troubleshoot at least 2 of the following: Vision Systems, PLC's, Fanuc Robots.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience training lower-level technicians.

Experience troubleshooting ovens or substations.

Automation experience with robotics (high-level troubleshooting, setting points, recovering programs from crashes, setting home) or PLC experience (reading ladder logic, performing ladder logic runs, troubleshooting inputs and outputs, making minor changes in programs).Why Work Here?

The Maintenance Technician role is on the day shift with a schedule of 7am-7pm (2-2-3-2). The facility tempers and forms glass for different types of windshields, with temperatures reaching up to 110 degrees in some areas. The facility is extremely clean with minimal dirt.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $65270.00/yr.
