Description:

We are hiring a Special Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year in Chesterfield, SC. Youll work with two self-contained classrooms:

3-5 year olds with developmental delays

5-8 year olds with intellectual disabilities

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Provide instruction and support in self-contained classrooms.

Adapt lessons to meet student needs.

Use positive behavior strategies to maintain a safe learning environment.

Collaborate with staff, parents, and other professionals.

Track student progress and communicate with families.

Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters in Special Education or related field.

South Carolina Special Education Certification (or ability to obtain).

Experience with young children with developmental delays or intellectual disabilities preferred.
