Mechanical Engineer

Overview:

Our client is an established engineering consulting firm that is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team within the Mid-Atlantic market.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated response

Calculate heat loss/heat gain requirements for buildings

Layout of mechanical systems using AutoCAD and/or REVIT software

Coordinate system design with other trades

Assist jobsite meetings as needed

Identify and resolve conflicts as they arise

Create and maintain customer relationships Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited institution

Knowledge of HVAC systems

3+ years experience in MEP

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong leadership and communication skills

AutoCAD and REVIT software experience Desired Qualifications:

Navisworks and/or Sysque software experience

Piping and/or sheet metal fabrication experience

Plumbing systems design experience

P.E. or E.I.T

Cost estimation experience
