SQL Developer Production Support

Our client, a major bank in New York City (or Central NJ), is looking for SQL Developer Production Support (Market Risk). This is hybrid commute, 2-3 days per week in the office.

6 months initial contract with possible extensions or option to hire.

Could be very long term.

Final interview will be ONSITE.

Rate: $70-74 on W2, possible C2C as well SQL Developer Production Support Job DescriptionThis consulting position requires a BA/BS in computer science/engineering, or data science/engineering, along with 5+ years of experience in IT system development and support.

The role involves development and support for the Bank's Risk Technology Platform.

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including designing, developing, and implementing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.

· Expertise in Python programming, including experience with data analysis libraries such as NumPy, and Pandas.

· Proficiency in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) processes.

· Proficient in C# programming, including experience with .NET framework.

· Experience in Fixed Income and Securitization products and their market conventions, would be a big plus.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends, patterns, and insights.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other IT professionals, business analysts, and stakeholders.

· Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities, with a proactive and flexible approach to work.
