Job Summary: Test Technician is responsible for supporting production test operators and test/manufacturing engineers in a fast-paced environment of building servers and racks.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI), work closely with the corporate R&D, Test Development and Manufacturing teams to analyze test data, troubleshoot, and identify product defects, verify fixes and document test results.
Develop/modify test script and processes to improve yields, reduce failures and improve efficiency.

Manager, Test & It Engineer Duties/Responsibilities: · Support test engineers and production test operators in test and qualification of servers and racks.
· Setup test stations, deploy test equipment, run cables and validate test processes.
· Install new test scripts received from R&D, review failures, creates test process instructions, provide logs and results.
· Working knowledge of PXE, networking protocols, Linux, C and Python.
· Analyzes failures and work closely with TE and debug to help fix the problem as well as make recommendations to improve product reliability and quality.
· Works independently and within engineering practices to maintain, modify, and enhance existing quality methods & processes · Recognize problems that need further investigation, seek assistance when needed, demonstrates initiative and self-motivation.
· Create test process documents Education and Experience (Relevant or Preferred): · Minimum 2-year college degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent discipline.
· 2–5-year experience as a Test technician in Computer Industry.
· Experience with network technologies and protocols, Switches, routers etc.
· Experience in writing Linux and Python scripts to test computer hardware and verify hardware configurations · Experience with Intel X86 architecture, PXE boot process, OS download and CTO process.
· Strong written, verbal and presentation skills · Ability to multitask and strong problem-solving skills Physical Requirements: · Ability to walk and stand on cement floors for long periods · Ability to stand, stoop, bend and performing repetitive tasks.
· Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
· Must have excellent hand - eye coordination · Must wear ear protection when working near testing area
