Network Tools Engineer

Network Tools Engineer 100% Remote US Citizenship is Required per government contract Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance Description: Tools team member to support multiple tools within account working as a ‘Subject Matter Expert’ (SME). The position requires the ability to manage and troubleshoot as well as plan and implement releases/patches/upgrades.

The tool SME updates documentation, manages (create/update/close/resolve) change/incident tickets.

SME follows ITSM processes for tasks to complete installs and validations.

Primary Tools: • OpenText NNMi • OpenText Network Automation • SevOne NMS and DI • Vertiv DSView • BMC TrueServer Automation for installation of other agents utilizing automation jobs Secondary Tools: • IBM License Metric Tool • Load Runner Enterprise Qualifications/Responsibilities: Skills needed to support the role include: • Attention to detail.

• System administration experience for Windows, Solaris and RHEL OS • Scripting (.bat and .sh) • Knowledge of java and perl a plus • Strong investigation and troubleshooting skills • Must be a self-starter and work with limited direction • Professional communication skills both written and verbal • Experience with automation tools and updating/creating/running jobs • AWS Certification and knowledge of tools a plus • College degree or 5-10 years of technical experience • Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint • Must be a U.S.
