Description: We are currently seeking a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Professional Engineer (PE) with a strong background in maintaining energy management systems for a large industrial complex.

The selected candidate will be responsible for improving energy efficiency and resiliency at Hill Air Force Base.

This position involves: Improving the energy-efficient operation of key facilities, equipment and control systems Addressing demand reduction Researching and facilitating energy conservation and resiliency opportunities Research and facilitate funding opportunities Supporting utility management functions utilizing NexGen (TRIRIGA) reports, resale rates, and tenant energy allocation Supporting maintenance and development of data management initiatives including Automated Meter Reading (AMR), Energy Management and Control System (EMCS)/Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Incorporating data from initiatives above into the overarching Energy Management System Identifying anomalies in facility energy use Working with Facility Managers and shop personnel to field check and diagnose usage anomalies Recommending actions to correct problems Optimizing facility operations to minimize utility costs Maintaining a prioritized listing of buildings ranked by annual utility cost per square foot Supporting energy awareness efforts Identifying potential energy projects, programs, and initiatives Responding to headquarters project and data calls involving funding, rebates, and grants Providing highly complex, information-intensive reports, data, charts, and other materials to enable decision making Preferred Experience and Skills: Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Professional Engineer (PE)Note: Education or practical work experience can be substituted for certifications if candidate is willing to take CEM exam within 18 months of employment Database and data management experience Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining energy management systems Experience developing and implementing process improvement strategies Experience creating energy performance indexes Familiarity with the U.S.
