CYBER SECURITY PROJECT MANAGER One of our International financial firms is seeking a Cyber Security Project Manager that will be responsible for overseeing and managing cybersecurity projects within the organization.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to ensure the successful implementation of security initiatives and compliance with industry standards.
This position is a consulting assignment that will be on going.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage cybersecurity projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
Develop and implement project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with cybersecurity projects.
Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.
Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity project management, preferably within the financial sector.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR). Proven track record of successfully managing complex cybersecurity projects.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Professional certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
