Mechanical Designer

Position: Designer/Design Engineer Location: Canfield Office Salary: $28 to $35 per hour, with very little overtime We are on the lookout for a skilled Designer/Design Engineer to join our dynamic team at our Canfield office.

Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with engineers to create design layouts.

Produce detailed drawings and 3-D models using AutoCAD or Inventor.

Engage in the design and modification of machinery and piping systems.

Requirements: Proven experience in equipment manufacturing or a similar role in a consulting or fabrication environment.

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor.

Ability to produce detailed, accurate engineering drawings—no mere copy-pasting here!

At least two years of relevant experience.

Ideal Candidate: Has a background in modifying existing parts and managing detailed project elements.

Is efficient and adept at working within multiple software platforms.

Comes from a consulting or fabricating background, as individuals with this experience have proven to be exemplary candidates in the past.
