Heavy Equipment Operator

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking an Excavation Heavy Equipment for a long-term role with a small excavation and utility company in Portland, OR with stable and year-round work.

The person in this position will operator excavation equipment for commercial projects including excavation and utility installation.

Pay: $30-$35/hr Excavation Heavy Equipment Operator Responsibilities: Operate construction equipment and tools to cut or fill to grade Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment Perform construction duties as part of a team Work efficiently to meet strict deadlines Adhere to workplace safety and environmental practices Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and other contractors Excavation Heavy Equipment Operator Qualifications: Valid Driver’s License Good driving record Reliable transportation Thorough understanding of both pipe and excavation Thorough understanding of setting and checking grades Proficiency at operating excavation equipment Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screening that includes Marijuana Mechanical ability CDL A is a plus Benefits: $30 - $35 per hour 401(k) 401(k) Matching Health insurance Paid Sick Leave Year-round work Overtime opportunities Prevailing wage opportunities Little to no travel required Upward mobility #zr
