Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Engineer Duration: Contract to Hire Location: 77032 Overview: We are looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and support electrical systems for various projects.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create cost-effective, reliable solutions while ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.

This role requires multitasking across multiple projects and working closely with Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities: Design and update electrical drawings, schematics, and BOMs.

Ensure project compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to meet project goals.

Improve engineering workflows and manufacturing processes.

Troubleshoot and support electrical systems in manufacturing and field operations.

Develop cost estimates, schedules, and technical documentation.

Research, prototype, and test electrical components and systems.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

3-5 years of experience in an OEM equipment manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D for electrical schematics.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with medium voltage and DC power systems.

Knowledge of control systems, PLC programming, and industrial communication protocols.

Familiarity with NEC, IEC, IEEE standards, and UL-approved component design.

Experience with IoT, networking, and cloud-based solutions is a plus.

Work Environment: Office-based with occasional work in manufacturing and testing environments.
