Job Description: The person in this role will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD), Infrastructure/Facilities Department.
He/She will support the Infrastructure and Acquisition Branch in day-to-day operations and project management.
Basic Requirements: B.S.
in associated field 6+ years of experience Must be a U.S.
Citizen with an Active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance Experience with project coordination and/or management Ability to work independently or as a member of a team Motivated Strong experience with MS Office Suite of Products to include, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Additional Qualifications: Prior experience working with government facilities Prior experience using AutoCAD Responsibilities: Plan Minor Construction Projects Coordinate Requirements with Facilities Develop Scope of Work Assist developing RS MEANS cost estimates Consult with building users Measure, accumulate, and determine specifications Attend Meetings/briefings with Environmental, Safety, Security, and Contracts Perform site visits with furniture construction contractors Develop SAP packages Work Induction Board (WIB) package development (Work Permit & PRB initiating) General Requirements Determination: Management of Environmental, Safety, and Security Requirements Determine all applicable building codes and General Contractor requirements that are indirectly related to the Scope such as Scheduling, Submittals, Work Restrictions, Administrative …etc.
