Regional Account Director Ohio Valley Territory Direct Hire field-based selling position with Confidential Client.

ImpactBio is proud to partner with our Client to recruit a Regional Account Director (RAD) to drive commercial execution in the critical care space.

In this highly strategic role, you'll help shape the success of an innovative therapy delivered under Emergency Use Authorization (EUA). The RAD will be a strategic partner to ICU departments, hospital systems, driving formulary inclusion, optimizing protocol integration, and be a champion to treatment paradigms - ensuring that eligible patients receive timely access to life-saving therapies.

What you will be doing: Take full ownership of sales performance within the assigned territory by driving product pull through across key ICU and hospital accounts- ensuring alignment between hospital systems for seamless patient access.

Develop and execute customized account strategies to gain formulary inclusion, support protocol integration, and drive product adoption.

Build and maintain trusted relationships with ICU clinicians, ID specialists, hospital administrators, pharmacy directors, and P&T committee members.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clinical leaders and decision-makers, providing clinical insights and education on the therapy's clinical value and economic impact.

Collaborate closely with internal teams and share real-time insights that shape national strategy.

Increase awareness of the therapy through educational initiatives such as in-services, case discussions, or Grand Rounds presentations.

Other responsibilities as outlined in Job description Qualifications and Experience Requirements unless otherwise noted: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, MD, MPH) strongly preferred 7+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, including success launching products into ICU or hospital-based settings.

Proven success of launching or expanding new therapies/indication into ICU or acute care settings.

Experience with Emergency Use Authorization or introducing new clinical paradigms is highly desirable.

Expertise navigating hospital formulary access, reimbursement mechanisms (e.g., DRGs), health economics principles and payer structures.

Prior experience as an ICU nurse or pharmacist, or working directly within ICU clinical or pharmacy teams, is highly advantageous.

Has a “CEO of the territory” mindset—you own your results, move fast, and think strategically.

Excellent prioritization and time management skills This is a field-based role spanning a multi-state territory, with an expectation of 50–70% travel (territory-dependent), including overnight trips to engage directly with key accounts.

Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
