As we expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Controller to join and lead our finance team and contribute to our continued growth.

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of transactions

Monitor and analyze accounting data, prepare monthly and annual reports, and present financial statements to senior management

Assist in budget preparation and management activities

Support month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness

Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

Collaborate with external CPA during annual reviews

Assess current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement, and implementing new processes

Participate in the recruitment, training, retention, and organization of all department staff in accordance with company hiring process

Perform financial analysis and reporting as required, including tax planning

Execute bi-weekly payroll processing for all employees using our designated payroll software/system.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred

Proven experience in accounting or financial management

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, GAAP, and financial reporting

Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Sage Intacct, ADP)

High level of efficiency in Excel

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Experience in supporting, managing, and developing people

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Integrity and professionalism when handling confidential information
