Our unique approach brings together researchers with expertise in various fields, including biomedical imaging, biosensing, biomechanics, engineered/synthetic biology, nano/biomaterials, artificial intelligence, and informatics. Our interns work together to solve real-world challenges, sometimes spurring innovations that may even change the way we do business! Reporting to the Chief Innovation Officer, you will gain real life experience as part of TIBIs Innovation support within a start-up in the biotech/biomedical field, and conduct market research for new products as well as research competitive landscapes of related activities.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Students participating in the Innovation track willlearn and gain an understanding about the following:
Biotech product lifecycles
How to assess new and emerging markets for biotech products
Develop quantitative skills for impact assessments.
How to estimate ROIs in innovation
Basic development process for intellectual properties (IPs) such as patents
How to value IPs

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Active undergraduate student in their Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year
Demonstrated academic achievement.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Enthusiastic and has a growth mindset, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities, adaptable, a critical thinker, organized and collaborative.
Ability to maintain professional demeanor and strict confidentiality of employee and company information.
Strong research skills required (online)
TIME COMMITMENT
This is a 12 WEEK unpaid internship.
