Position Summary:
The Specialist, Program Financial position will be responsible for the supporting and leading the financial management, review, and forecasting of programs across the site. They’ll partner with finance and program management and project teams to analyze and understand their financial position. The Analyst will prepare quarterly, monthly, and weekly financial reports, both internal and external as required, validate Actual cost reporting, support monthly closing activities, support establishment and maintenance of project baselines and forecasts, and be responsible for project setup and maintenance with the financial systems.
Responsible for managing, preparing, administering, and directing the control of budgets for large and/or complex programs. Generate budgets, forecast funding profiles, and ensure adequate funding available and within negotiated positions.
Monitor and control cost for both internal and external customers.
Perform Estimate at Completions (EAC’s), assess profit impacts and provide variance explanations.
Responsible for P&L forecasting of Orders, Sales, Profit and Investments including identifying Risks & Opportunities (R&O) as well as preparing various ad hoc financial analyses and presenting as required to Senior Management.
Assists the program team by analyzing and interpreting data to identify trends, cost/schedule risks, and opportunities that influence outcomes.
Provide recommendations on financial performance projections to management based on business knowledge and experience.
Interface with various levels of management, Program Office and functional departments to support programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant finance experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related finance experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related finance experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience maintaining complex financial models and analyzing large amounts of financial data.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of government contracts, funding profiles, sales outlook and variance analysis preferred.
Experience with Deltek CostPoint.
Must have the ability to obtain a future Security Clearance is required for the role. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is 75,000-139,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
