Position Title:RF Engineer

Location:Bradenton, FL

Job Type:Full-time Travel (4-10 schedule, 3 day weekends)

Position Summary

This role focuses on the design, development, and implementation of microprocessor-based systems for power distribution and cabin control in aviation applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop solid-state power controls, cabin control systems, and data acquisition devices.

Generate technical documentation, including hardware requirements, design descriptions, and verification procedures.

Conduct peer and technical design reviews internally and with customers.

Perform hardware validation, integration, and system testing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on hardware/software integration.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.

Proficiency in analog/digital circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout review.

Experience with EMC, thermal design, and aviation standards (e.g., RTCA/DO-160).

Familiarity with communication protocols (ARINC 429, RS-232/422/485, CAN).

Hands-on experience with lab test equipment (spectrum/network analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators).

Knowledge of RF systems and components such as amplifiers, filters, mixers, and converters.

Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and time management skills.

Ability to travel up to 10%.
