Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Providing first-level technical support
Managing user accounts and hardware
Ensuring the smooth operation of various IT systems across multiple locations
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a commitment to delivering excellent user support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide first-level support through the IT ticketing system
Procure and configure cell phones for new users
Assist in the administration and support of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Provide user support for Office 365 applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Support Microsoft Teams for communication, meetings, and collaboration
Assist remote users in accessing company systems and resources
Assign portable hardware (e.g., laptops, tablets) as requested by users
Create and maintain up-to-date IT process documentation
Maintain and troubleshoot onsite printers and related equipment
Provide IT support across multiple locations
Work independently and collaboratively with the IT vendor to resolve technical issues and manage day-to-day IT operations
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree from a college or university, or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proven experience in a similar IT Support or Technician role
Familiarity with RingCentral, Microsoft 365 (Office Suites), and MFA systems
Experience supporting Microsoft Teams in a business environment
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals and/or groups of fellow employees
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to work under pressure in a calm and efficient manner, quickly adapting to change
Experience supporting users across multiple locations, including remote users
Strong written and verbal communication skills
