Nassau Candy Distributors is a leading importer, manufacturer and distributor of specialty confections, fine foods and promotional products.

We are currently hiring a talented and detail-oriented Chocolate Mold & Prototype Designer to support our ever-expanding confectionery production efforts on site in Hicksville.

In this critical role you will use your technical skills to:

Design and print chocolate molds via Formlabs SLA 3D printers

Conceptualize and fabricate prototypes and trays for candy and chocolate production

Create and cut aluminum depositing plates, and chocolate molds via CNC router

Your qualifications:

Minimum three years of experience in a similar mold / model making role within the confectionery field or related manufacturing industry.

Hands on experience using Type3 CAD /CAM software or the equivalent and must be able to operate the CNC Router and 3D printer

Strong overall systems and computer acumen; Excel, ERP, machining, fabrication and design

Bilingual English/ Spanish a plus.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred
