CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist Location: Tempe, AZ Pay Rate: $28/hour + 5% shift differential Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a CNC Machinist position for a client located in Tempe, AZ.

The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating CNC machining equipment and performing precision machining on complex parts.

Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components.

Read and interpret G & M codes; make program edits as needed.

Apply knowledge of tool geometry and adjust tool wear offsets.

Perform in-process inspections using GD&T standards, optical comparators, microscopes, and manual inspection tools.

Apply machine shop math for precision machining tasks.

Operate multi-axis and live-tooling machines; sub-spindle experience a plus.

Work with Fanuc controls; experience with Doosan, HAAS, and Brother machines preferred.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Qualifications: Minimum 6 years of experience setting up and running CNC machines.

Minimum 5 years of precision machining experience.

Strong practical knowledge of G & M codes, tool geometry, and offsets.

Excellent inspection skills using manual and optical tools, with GD&T knowledge.

Solid understanding of machine shop mathematics.

CAD/CAM experience is a plus.

Fanuc control experience required; Doosan, HAAS, and Brother machine experience desirable.
