Responsibilities include:
Maintain operations accounting, financial reporting, financial control, and information systems to ensure adequate records, appropriate authorizations of transactions, and safeguard assets.
Drive timeliness and accuracy in financial closing & reporting. Lead the operations accounting, monthly/ quarterly close procedures and reporting process.
Compare actual results with projected and/or established guidelines and compare actual results to standards.
Lead the Hartson Kennedy business capital expenditure process, establishing priorities and budgets, working with facilities to ensure project execution, and tracking and reporting spending.
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, set standard costs and prepare detailed analysis of comparison between standards and actual performance.
Manage Key staff activities including selection, assimilation, communication, performance planning, development and recognition.
Ensure the quality of account reconciliations and B/S analysis, perform analytic review to ensure the compliance and the integrity of the accounts.
Review and establish internal controls.
Assist in the preparation of year end audit work papers for external auditor. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
MBA, CPA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Controllership and / or Audit.
Strong technical accounting and analytical skills.
Polished communicator: able to work effectively internally and externally with all levels of leadership. Deliver clear, concise messages both verbally and in writing.
Self-motivated and able to operate effectively in a team environment.
Strong knowledge & understanding of the finance systems and processes.
Ability to build relationships, trust, and interface effectively across multiple organizations and businesses.
Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues.
