Join Darktrace’s dynamic Go-to-Market team as a Solutions Engineer (SE). This rewarding position requires a blend of technical expertise, cybersecurity passion, and sales acumen. You'll be a key player in both pre-sales and post-sales processes, working closely with an account team to transform opportunities into success stories.

As a Solutions Engineer, you'll serve as the technical lead between clients, partners, and our internal teams. You'll develop and maintain direct relationships with critical customers, providing expert guidance and support. Responsibilities include positioning Darktrace’s value, running custom POVs, closing deals, and achieving revenue targets.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Serve as the technical lead between clients, partners, and our internal teams at Darktrace.

Position Darktrace’s value against different pains for clients or prospects.

Qualify, prioritize, and drive new business opportunities in coordination with an account team.

Proactively spot and address prospect and customer issues.

Establish yourself as a trusted advisor and technical authority to clients, from technical staff to C-suite executives.

Run insightful discovery across the product platform, feeding into the success criteria of your POVs.

Plan and design client-specific deployment strategies and architectures in varying coverage areas.

Travel regionally, and potentially internationally, to client sites as permitted by health guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience:

1+ years in a software sales engineering role; experience in cybersecurity is preferred.

Proficiency in technical language with the ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate them effectively to various audiences.

Strong knowledge in both on-premises and cloud networking and technologies. Familiarity with the full cybersecurity stack and attack methodologies preferred.

Exceptional interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities for a client-facing role.

Passion for staying updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and a willingness to continuously develop your skillset.

Familiarity with MEDDPPIC is preferred.

Master’s or bachelor’s degree from a top-tier accredited university with strong academic performance in a STEM subject.
