**Job Title: Mechanic**
**Job Description**
Under general supervision, the mechanic operates and performs routine troubleshooting and repair of all packaging equipment and systems. The mechanic conducts packaging line changeovers and mechanical set-up of all packaging equipment in accordance with the packaging schedule. **_For quicker response email resume to ()_**
**Responsibilities**
+ Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures and state, federal, and local laws.
+ Perform routine troubleshooting and repairs of packaging and processing equipment, and mechanical control systems.
+ Execute packaging line set-ups and changeovers.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Legible handwriting and ability to perform accurate documentation.
+ Ability to count accurately and perform basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
+ Organizational skills and ability to follow instructions and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
+ Mechanical orientation with an understanding of common tools and operation of PLCs and graphical user interfaces.
+ Familiarity with equipment systems utilizing utilities like compressed air, electrical supply, vacuum, steam, chilled water, etc.
+ Basic computer skills, including data entry.
+ Associate degree or High School Diploma or equivalent.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
