Job Description

We have an immediate opening for an Experienced Sheet Metal /Shop Mechanic. We strive to solve problems through passion and integrity and we're looking for talented and creative people like you to help determine our company's future.

Here is what a typical day might look like as a Sheet Metal Fabricator:

You would utilize a computer & plasma fabrication table to design, layout, & cut sheet metal for HVAC ductwork & fittings

You would bend, insulate, & assemble metal ductwork & fittings

You would check to ensure that each job order is accurate and complete

You would assist with gathering supplies, ductwork, & equipment from our warehouse for upcoming projects

You would assist with general warehouse activities at the direction of the shop supervisor to complete assigned projects – it’s something new every day!

Here are some of the skills we’re looking for:

Ability to work with a variety of shop tools & equipment including: CNC plasma cutting table, sheet metal brake, metal shears, & pinspotter welding machine

Ability to fabricate & assemble sheet metal duct components for HVAC projects

Ability to work with insulation & spray adhesives in a well-ventilated space

You may have held one of these positions in the past: Duct Fabricator, Sheet Metal Mechanic, HVAC Installer, Shop Fabricator, or Sheet Metal Fabricator

Experience working with CAD or plasma cutting system is a plus

Be self-motivated & able to manage time for completion of projects in a timely manner

Willing to help with warehouse tasks, as needed

Great Attitude

Good Communication skills

Mechanically inclined, with good Math & Computer skills

Ability to read & calculate measurements
