Commercial Superintendent – Ground-Up Construction
Location: Phoenix/Tucson Area
Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000 (plus benefits)
TLW Construction is seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to lead and oversee ground-up commercial construction projects in the Phoenix area. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing large-scale commercial builds, ensuring timely delivery, safety, and top-tier quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of on-site management for ground-up commercial projects
Develop project and trade-specific schedules, with regular look-aheads, and communicate them effectively to all trades
Interface with project inspectors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, clients, and local officials to ensure smooth project progression
Maintain and document project safety and code compliance, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications
Track and document progress regularly, providing clear updates to the office and stakeholders
Maintain strict quality control standards across all project phases
Ensure all project safety measures are followed; OSHA, Dust, First Aid, and CPR certifications are a plus
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial construction projects
Proficiency with construction management software (Procore experience is a plus)
Familiarity with MS Office and scheduling software such as MS Project
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a professional demeanor
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive salary ranging from $90,000 – $120,000, depending on experience
