As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities to help them lead independent and fulfilling lives. Your role will involve working closely with individuals in their homes and in the community to ensure their well-being and happiness.Key Responsibilities:

Support individuals with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household chores.

Accompany individuals to appointments, such as medical visits and therapy sessions.

Assist individuals in participating in community activities and social events.

Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals.

Document individual progress and any concerns for review by the care team.Qualifications:

Compassionate and empathetic nature.

Ability to communicate effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Previous experience working in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Ability to pass a background check.
