Job Description
IPS – IRP Med is seeking a QC Inspector 1 who will be responsible to verify conformance of product to customer requirements and specifications through product inspection via 100% or AQL sampling for visual and/or dimensional measurement inspection and product testing through its required and applicable Secondary Operations up to Document Review for Product Release to Ship.

Job Responsibilities:
Inspection of product for visual defects as required, such as unaided eye or some level of magnification
Inspection of product for dimensional specifications using contact and non-contact measurement equipment/Vision systems
Ability to read/understand part drawing requirements and specifications
Ability to read/understand work order/router requirements and specific work instructions
Understanding of required Secondary Operations such as Trim, Postcure, Diecutting, Parts Cleaning, Packaging, Labeling, Documentation/Certificates
Reporting and Documentation of Inspection results
Ability to review Documents such as Work Order/Router, Certificates, Product Labels for completeness, accuracy, consistency per GMP/GDP requirements
Job Specifications:
Years Experience: Minimum of 1-2+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical component or device industry
Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required
Skills:
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Understand the importance of product conformity, GMPs/GDPs
Ability to read/write/speak in English, Spanish is a plus
Understand importance of product identification and traceability, such as production lot number and material batch number
Organized, neat and meticulous
Able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently, as well as multi-tasking
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic math skills
Perform other duties, as required
Previous inspection experience is preferred
Minimum of High School level of education is required
Ability to handle moderate lifting, no greater than 50 lbs
