Tool Room Supervisor

Goddard Mason Executive Search, a dedicated division of Quality Staffing, is seeking a detail-oriented Industrial Tool Room Supervisor to oversee the receiving, distribution, and maintenance of tools in our stockroom. The ideal Industrial Tool Room Supervisor candidate will have strong knowledge of tooling, experience in vendor management, and the ability to coordinate production orders efficiently. This is a Direct Hire opportunity, pay rate for the Industrial Tool Room Supervisor position is $24 to 28/hour based on experience. Must have previous experience in a Manufacturing/Industrial role as a Tool Room Supervisor

Job Description:

Tool Inventory Management: Receive tools from vendors and warehouse, ensuring accurate record-keeping and inventory tracking.

Tool Issuance: Distribute tools to production orders as needed, maintaining proper documentation.

Tool Maintenance & Repairs: Process damaged tools for replacement or repairs, coordinating with vendors and internal teams.?

Production Order Preparation: Prepare production orders for CNC machines according to the production schedule.

Pre-Pull Operations: Process production orders for pre-pull responsibilities to ensure timely availability of tools

Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with vendors to ensure timely procurement and service of tools.

Ensure all employees within the tool room adhere to PPE requirements, including safety glasses, gloves, and other necessary protective gear.

Requirements

:

Strong knowledge of tooling and machining processes

Experience working in a tool room, stockroom, or manufacturing environment

Ability to manage inventory and maintain accurate records

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Experience in vendor management and procurement

Familiarity with CNC machine tooling is a plus
