The Mistras-Project Manager works in concert with Synthomer-Reliability for the continued development of newly formed Mechanical Integrity Program focused on aligning with API intervals and its inclusion into PCMS. The position consists of multiple roles including field work, meeting with Capital Project management, Mechanical Integrity Team and contractors to plan and complete Maintenance and TAR inspections. Supervision of onsite Mistras personnel and delegation of daily planned inspections, as well as organization and tracking of equipment, piping inspections through shared files and KPIs.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

Work directly with Synthomer-MI Project Management on priority Capital Projects

Work with Synthomer-MI Group to plan annual maintenance inspections and TAR prep

Execute and track inspection progress

Co-managing MI priorities with Synthomer/MI Reliability Engineer (Behzad)

Responsibilities will be prioritized together and delegation of Mistras staff will be at the discretion of the MI-PM Site Lead

Delegation of work to onsite Mistras staff, API and Drafting

EXPECTATIONS:

25-50% time allocated to onsite API & NDE Inspections while working PM position

Working with GM for additional staffing, quoting of additional work

KPI implementation and tracking

Time allocation for Capital Projects

Daily meetings on priority projects Unplanned inspections to be completed on a priority and/or emergent basis

Process failures go to the top of the list

Uninspected equipment or accidental findings are discussed and scheduled according to their Risk

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 10 years of inspection Experience

1-3 years Project Management experience

Experience planning Projects

Experience managing TARs

Minimum five years of possessing API 570/510-Certifications

Must be NDE certified in MT, PT, UTT up to date or ASNT certified

API 653 experience/ PADEP (optional)

Familiar with Systemization, Circuitization of Process Piping systems with a knowledge of the affected Damage Mechanisms per API-571

Recommend interviewing with current site Senior API Inspector

Ability to read PFDs and P&IDs with the ability to both read and isometrically draw ISOs

Comprehend U-1, U-1A Data Reports and Design Drawings
