With our continued growth and demand for service, Lorenz Bus Service, Inc. is looking to hire talented school bus drivers. Our company is the transportation manager for the Minnesota State Fair and provides service for local universities, professional sports teams, visiting dignitaries, and local fortune 500 corporationsthese opportunities often provide significant summer work opportunities for our school bus driver base.

Presently, we are hiring part-time drivers to drive for school field trips, athletics, & camp and church group activities. There are advancement opportunities to become a motor coach driver and earn gratuities, which are standard on those style trips.

Requirements:

Possess excellent customer service skills

Ability to act in a courteous and professional manner at all times

Patience and the ability to maintain professionalism while adapting to changing situations

Having a smart phone or tablet will help simplify your job

Valid commercial drivers license with school bus endorsement

Current and valid DOT medical card

Must pass pre-employment DOT drug test and criminal history background check

Favorable driving record with experience. If not, willingness to complete Lorenzs entry level driver training program

Have a glass is half full mentality, with a passion for serving others

Team Player reliable, honest, take initiative and be committed to putting the teams objectives above your own

Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement

Ability to work outside in all types of weather
