JOB SUMMARY:
As a WMS Application analyst, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, documenting and delivering critical operational functions for L’Occitane Group Distribution Center and the clients they support. The position acts as a first line of response for system issues. The Engineering team is seeking a self-motivated professional, with strong analytical and technical skills, and a willingness to learn more. The successful candidate is expected to understand inventory, warehousing and supply chain domains as well as the processes associated with maintaining warehouse management systems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support and resolve any technical or operational issues related to the WMS promptly to minimize disruptions to warehouse operations
Work closely with operations to provide short-term workarounds and long-term solution to production problems
Be a liaison between Operations Leadership and Engineering team to align strategies and lead continuous improvement efforts
Lead and actively participate in all phases of process optimization, bug fixes, including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, system design and development, testing and roll-out and support
Execute system configuration changes in various environments including changes in Production
Manage the documentation and organization of configuration changes, business process and training guides
Utilize warehouse systems and business knowledge to serve as a mentor for IT and Operations team members who need assistance understanding processes
Be the subject matter expert on functional and technical discussions with all stake holders involving WMS
Support and maintain WMS integration with internal/external systems and third-party applications
Effectively communicate with business parties and technical teams in providing timely and relevant information
Be involved in technical support and software training, providing analytical, in-person technical assistance as well as superior customer service
Create and maintain integration and automation between multiple databases, including SQL database imports, queries, reports, stored procedures, etc.
Perform routine to complex technical work on custom reports and minor enhancements and integrations between systems using industry standard programming languages, tools, and frameworks.

REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in business information technology, supply chain, or similar field Preferred
EXPERIENCE:
2 - 5 years’ experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Manhattan Scale experience preferred
Minimum of 3 years of using SQL for query and report development in a Supply Chain setting
Experience with the use of Windows Servers and the management of the Servers
Experience managing Issues and New Requests in a central Reporting Tool – JIRA Preferred
Minimum 3 to 5 years in operational support and/or software implementation experience
Warehouse Operations experience a plus
SKILLS:
Proven ability to work effectively in a team structure; highly motivated, focused, self-driven and results oriented.
Deep understanding of relational databases with regards to Supply Chain Applications (Microsoft SSMS knowledge & SQL Proficiency a must)
Familiarity of scripting languages including JSON, PowerShell, MS-DOS scripting, etc
Working knowledge of information technology systems including network, security, compute, storage and application platforms
Knowledge of high-level system design methodologies and techniques (such as data/process flow diagrams, integration mapping, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to effectively analyze and troubleshoot data and database related issues
Excellent attention to detail in troubleshooting, problem solving and root cause analysis skills
Highly organized with time management skills and the ability to function in a fast-paced multifunctional environment where priorities change quickly
Ability to balance multiple priorities and drive tasks to completion
Experience working in a team-oriented, cross-function collaborative environment
Always having an eye for continuous improvement opportunities, and continuous learning mindset
Flexible and adaptable with a schedule that could include nights, working required holidays, and weekends with occasional after-hours requirements

Commute to warehouse location
Able to sit in front of a computer screen for long periods of time
Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
