Job Title: Meat Slicer

NuVue Foods operates a large Culinary Center in Hamtramck, MI producing Fresh & Frozen Foods for Convenience Stores, Business Dining Management Companies, and C -Store Distributors around the country ā with single serve RTE packaged Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Items. We have expanded our facility to create large batch recipes for creating packaged Entréeās, Select non-leaf Salads, Sandwich fillings, and fresh baked stuffed bread. We are looking for a talented individual, with Ambition, Innovative & Creative Vision, a willingness to learn new skills. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a moderate pace commercial kitchen, possess a positive attitude, team player, and have a good work ethic.
Slice a variety of meats to meet production schedules.
Be HAACP Certified or willing to take the class sponsored by the company.
Handle and store food and ingredients in accordance with HAACP Standards
Maintain Food Safety under USDA/FDA Requirements
Setup workstations with required ingredients and equipment to meet production goals.
Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients.
Prepare Meat, Vegetables, Poultry, and other foods for packaging.
Must be able to keep calm in face-paced and stressful environments.
