The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently handling various responsibilities with competing priorities as well as excellent customer service skills.
Must be detail oriented, demonstrate professional manners and effectively communicate when interacting with fellow employees and customers.
Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Be the 1st point of contact with prospective and current customers
Enter customer PO’s efficiently and error-free
Provide customers with product and service information
Troubleshoot customer issues and product concerns
Resolve product and service issues
Initiate and issue return requests to customers
Enter and update quotations
Maintain customer accounts
Acquire and process information to set up new customers
Education and Requirements
High School Diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Must have B to B customer service or sales experience
Must be able to read, write and clearly communicate with poise and confidence
Must be able to speak in English over the phone and in person with customers and fellow employees
Knowledgeable with MS Windows, Excel, Word (MS Dynamics and Adobe a plus)
Knowledgeable with Salesforce a plus
Eligible to work in NC
This is a full time; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM position located in Burlington, NC.

Qualifications:
Ability to do mathematical calculations and grammar skills usually acquired through a 12th grade education.
Good telephone diplomacy and record of attendance.
Working knowledge of calculator, products, ability to cross reference competitor’s product, computer entry, and transmission.
Typical Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
Clarifies descriptions, checks prices, and assigns plant mail and telephone purchase orders daily.
Compares and matches confirmations with telephone orders for accuracy.
Timely processes change orders, quotations, material return authorizations and cost requests.
Maintains and keeps current regional open order file.
Monitors ship dates and advises customers of order status.
Upon request, expedites and traces overdue purchase orders as well as figures freight costs.
Timely follow-up on quotes and sample orders.
Performs any other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
Quantifiable Measures:
Timeliness of mail and telephone orders daily, accuracy of required reports and description clarification and plant assignment.
Open order file current and correct.
Accuracy of pricing.
Proofreading and expediting current and accurate.
Filing current and correct.
Quotations, change orders, cost requests, and material return authorizations current and correct.
